Marg Helgenberger

 Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16, 1958) is an American actress from the United States. Her career began in the late 1980s. She was first known for her character in Siobhan Ryan in the daytime soap which ran from 1982 until 1986. Her performances in the role of Catherine Willows, a CBS police procedural drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) as well as the follow-up TV film Immortality (2015) and and K.C. are her most famous. Koloski in the ABC drama China Beach (1988-91), which won her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.She is also known for parts in the TV series Under the Dome and Intelligence as well as the films Species (1995), Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007).Helgenberger was born on the 16th of November, 1958 in Fremont, Nebraska, to Mary Kay (nee Bolte) who was a nurse, as well as Hugh Helgenberger, a meat inspector. She was born in North Bend, Nebraska and was a graduate of North Bend Central High School. Helgenberger is German born and Irish, and was raised Roman Catholic. She has one older sister, Ann, and one younger brother, Curt.
