Darryl Raynard Richardson III, born on January 19, 1984, more popularly known as Lil Scrappy is an American rapper from America. The rapper was discovered by producer and performer Lil Jon while performing in an Atlanta bar. Lil Scrappy, along with Trillville was among the first artists signed to Lil Jon’s BME Recordings. Richardson has earned a reputable name within Atlanta's hip-hop community. The label also had Lil Jon's BME Recordings Present. Trillville and Lil Scrappy were the first artists to be released on the label. The album reached the 12th spot on the Billboard 200. Lil Scrappy's debut album Bred 2 Die Born 2 live was released by Reprise Records on December 5, 2006. The album was made by Lil Jon and features appearances by 50 Cent, Bohagon, Lil Jon, Olivia, Three 6 Mafia, Young Buck, Young Dro, and Yung Joc. The debut single "Money in the Bank" includes Young Buck and became Lil Scrappy's 2nd Top 30 single. Money in the Bank reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and was his biggest single success and also his commercially highest-rated single. It also surpassed "No Problem"'s highest position by one position.
