Jane Fonda

 Jane Seymour Fonda (born December 21 1937) is an American actress as well as activist and former fashion model. Fonda is a movie legend who has won numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards and two British Academy Film Awards. Fonda has also received seven Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award and an AFI Life Achievement Award. Fonda's first screen appearance was in the romantic comedy Tall Story. She rose to prominence during the 1960s, with comedies Period of Adjustment (1962) and Sunday in New York (1963), Cat Ballou (1965), Barefoot in the Park (1967), and Barbarella (1968). Her first husband was Barbarella director Roger Vadim. They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, a 1969 psychological drama. Fonda was Fonda's first role in a dramatic setting and earned her first Academy Award nomination. Fonda was a star of her generation , and she won the Academy Award for Best Actress twice in Klute (1971).
