Francine York

 Francine Yerich, born August 26, 1936 and passed away on January 6, 2017 was an American actress. She also wore the name Francine YerickYork and soon got an opportunity to work as a showgirl at Bimbo's nightclub located in San Francisco. Mary Meade French (Bimbo's headliner) brought Francine to Hollywood, and helped her sign a contract with an agent. Francine was a showgirl in Frank Sennes’ Moulin Rouge located on Sunset Blvd. for six months. In a bid to avoid sharing the stage with pigeons, elephants, and horses, she began taking acting classes with actor/teacher Jeff Corey. A stage producer put her in a production called Whisper in God's Ear the Circle Theatre, and she was also cast in her debut film, Secret File: Hollywood, a film about the day-to-day operations of a sleazy Hollywood tabloid.York's first film role was with Robert Clarke's Hollywood production, which was a exploitation film Secret File Hollywood shot in 1960, but it was not released until 1962. Her big break came in 1962 when Jerry Lewis cast her in It's Only Money in which she played a sexpot with a dazzling grin and sexpot, a role that earned the actress a lot of attention.
